Ken and Jennifer Kroner
Ken and Jennifer Kroner
San Rafael, CA
Supporting IJM since 2012
Jennifer heard Gary Haugen speak at a local church years ago and came home to tell Ken that it was time to sell their house and give everything to IJM. That didn’t happen, but it was the beginning of a conversation, and ultimately, a relationship. Jennifer’s experience with missions and education, coupled with Ken’s career in finance and data, made their commitment to and enthusiasm for IJM a natural fit. Ken is the founder and CEO of Pluribus Labs, an asset management startup. Previously he was a Senior Managing Director at BlackRock and a member of their Global Executive Committee. He serves or has served on various academic, foundation (including the Kroner Family Foundation), corporate, and academic journal editorial boards. He is a founder of the Pacific Center for Asset Management, an academic research institute that brings the power of academia to bear on issues faced by asset owners. He is also the co-chair of UC San Diego’s $3b capital campaign. Jennifer has a background in education and educational publishing. She fills her time managing a very active family, writing, serving on the Kroner Family Foundation board, and volunteering in their church and community. Ken and Jennifer live in San Rafael, California and have three young-adult children and two poorly trained golden retrievers.
