Gruia and Jamie have loved and supported the work of IJM since being handed an inspirational book written by Gary Haugen in 2006. They have been married for 20 years and have five children -- Three teen girls (16, 15, 13) and two strapping boys (7 and 5).

Gruia has been SVP and Head of Product at The Trade Desk for 6.5 years, through 9x people growth and 90x market cap growth, and he had various product roles at Microsoft for 10 years prior. The Trade Desk is #6 on this year’s Forbes 100 list of fastest growing companies across all industries. He holds Computer Science degrees from UC Berkeley (undergrad) and UCLA (MS). Gruia serves on the elder board at their local church, loves his wife and children, and is a passionate runner.

Jamie has a counseling background but has been blessed to be a homemaker for the past 16 years. She has spiritual gifts such as administration, mercy, serving, and giving, and she loves to meet many different needs of her family and community in the name of Jesus. Together they are grateful for the effectiveness of the IJM ministry, through data-driven local partnerships that will make a generational difference, and they feel privileged to join the mission in a new way on the Venture Council.
