IJM and Simple Charity Announce Partnership to Accelerate Impact of College Chapter Program
July 21, 2023, Washington D.C. – International Justice Mission (IJM) and Simple Charity are proud to announce a new partnership aimed at accelerating the impact of IJM’s college chapter program. The partnership will provide resources, support and collaboration to empower more college students to combat global injustices and protect more people from violence and poverty.
“IJM’s college chapter program has been instrumental in raising awareness and mobilizing students to combat global injustices, so we are thrilled to partner with Simple Charity to amplify the work that is already being done by college chapters,” said Kate Case, Head of Mobilization at IJM. “Together, we will equip more students with the tools and resources they need to make a difference in the fight against global injustices.”
As part of the partnership, IJM’s college chapter program will receive support from Simple Charity’s network of donors, volunteers and partners. This will enable IJM to expand its reach and impact, activating more students to join the fight against human trafficking, slavery, and other forms of violence and oppression.
“Simple Charity began as a group of students who raised $60,000 to fight global poverty in one year, and we continue to believe in the power of students to advance justice in the world,” said Brian Grasso, Co-founder and CEO at Simple Charity. “Toward this end, we could not be more excited to support IJM’s network of college chapters as they pray, advocate, and fundraise in solidarity with people experiencing poverty and injustice.”
