Join us as we come together to ask God for what seems impossible. Add your voice as we pray boldly for IJM's work and the people we serve.

Hear stories of hope, inexplicable joy, and triumph. Discover God’s heart for justice. Your eyes will be opened and your heart will be transformed. And because of your prayers, lives will be changed.

The Global Prayer Gathering is a transformative event like you've never experienced. You will pray, you will worship and you will encounter God as you stand on the front lines of injustice with IJM's staff and friends from around the world.

  • Worship, pray and have fellowship with others who are passionate about justice.

  • Hear stories first-hand from IJM’s leaders on the front lines.

  • Learn how God is moving and where we need God’s intervention against the violence our clients face every day.

Can children come to the Global Prayer Gathering?

We will be hearing sensitive stories of abuse and injustice, so we do not recommend that you bring your children. IJM is unable to provide child care, but there will be a "cry room" available for those with babies.

Is there a dress code?

No. Participants wear a variety of attire and are generally more casual throughout the weekend.

Are meals provided?

We will provide lunch on Friday and Saturday, but other meals will be on your own. The Gaylord National has a variety of great on-site dining options, and there are a number of easily accessible restaurants in the area.

I would like to volunteer. Will there be a volunteer’s discount?

We are so grateful for friends who volunteer to help, but we do not have the budget to offer discounted or free tickets. We have already underwritten a significant portion of each participant’s cost, so that you will receive the lowest cost possible.

My community will be sponsoring me to attend the Global Prayer Gathering. Will their donations be tax deductible?

The registration fee covers a portion of the cost of hosting the Global Prayer Gathering. Because this is an actual service and not a donation, gifts toward your registration are not tax-deductible.

We are excited for you to share about your experience, but for the safety of our clients and the stories we share, we do not allow any photography or video or audio recordings during main sessions or prayer rooms.

Does IJM provide any scholarships?

Unfortunately, we do not have scholarship funding available for the Global Prayer Gathering.

I can only attend part of the weekend. Can I pay a partial registration fee?

We cannot accommodate partial registrations at this time.

I’m a student, but also a former IJM intern. Should I register as an IJM Alumni or Student?

You may register as a Student and opt into the IJM Alumni luncheon.

How late could I can cancel my ticket and receive a refund?

You may cancel before March 1 and receive a partial refund of the registration fee (A $50 cancelation fee will be applied to each ticket). Your Global Prayer Gathering ticket is also fully transferrable. Ticket transfers are the responsibility of the two parties involved. Once a ticket has been transferred please log into your account and update it with the information of the new ticket holder.

Can you reserve tickets for me and my group?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate holding spots. We expect the event to fill quickly between mid- and late February.

Are special hotel rates available?

Yes! The Gaylord National has offered us special reduced rates for prayer gathering attendees. Click here to book your hotel room at the reduced rate. Book before March 23, 2015 to receive the discounted rate of $194.

Will there be parking?

The Gaylord offers parking for $24 a day, or $17 a day if you are staying at the hotel. Additional parking is available at Mariners Garage and St. George Garage for $10-12 per day; both are located about one block from the Gaylord.

How can I get to the hotel from the airport?

Gaylord National is just 15 minutes from Reagan National Airport (DCA) and 45 minutes from both Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI). All of these airports have shuttle and taxi services available.

Can IJM help me find a roommate?

Check out IJM’s Facebook page and find the 2015 Global Prayer Gathering under Events. You can post to this wall about your room availability or interest in rooming with fellow attendees.

I can’t attend the GPG. Will there be live streaming available online?

GPG OnDemand videos of the main sessions will be available after the event.

My church is hosting a group to watch the Global Prayer Gathering. What should I do?

You will be able to watch sessions after the weekend from the GPG website.
