CHICAGO PRAYER
GATHERING
Pray with us, Chicago.
“You also must help us in prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.”
-2 Corinthians 1:11
At IJM, we believe in the power of prayer. Each staff member, spread across 26 countries in 39 offices, communes with God and prays at least one hour each workday. That’s over 1,200 hours of prayer daily, not to mention the thousands of volunteers and prayer partners around the world who join us in crying out to God.
Prayer is built into the framework of IJM because we believe, and have seen repeatedly, that when we petition God in prayer, His hand moves in the hardest situations. Rescuing and protecting millions from the harsh realities of slavery and violence isn’t possible without prayer.
Join us as we gather friends of IJM from across the city who worship at churches from all corners of Chicagoland. Together, we can lift our voices and pray to our Father for the end of slavery.
